- Of all the princes and their fated mates Nic and Marlin, from book four, have been my favorite. I don't know now though. The trio of beta Beck, omega Galen, and alpha Prince Caol took a real run at that top spot. I loved the three if them together! They were perfect and just what each needed. The beginning chapters, when both Beck and Galen thought they might lose their alpha to the other, pulled at my heartstrings. I felt so sad for each of them. Although I won't give away what happened or how, I will say that I loved how the relationship between the three unfolded.
Although each book can be read as a standalone, I would recommend reading them in order. The Selkie ways in this series were widely different from any other shifter story I have read. Those differences, in my opinion, were really good. It definitely kept this series from being just another shifter series. It kept my curiosity up wanting to learn new things about the Selkies. Another thing I loved about this series was that the princes, their omega mates, and their beta servants all lived as one big family. They were very close and wouldn't hesitate to step in and help one other. I really enjoyed book five, as well as the first four, and would definitely recommend reading the series!
* I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This is my honest review.* - I’ve read the series from the beginning and was intrigued when I read that the youngest Alpha Caol would have a Triad story, I love Triad stories when done right, meaning the love is equal. Which is why this story is disappointing, Caol and Beck have been lovers since they were 16, now adults Caol must fulfill his duty and find an Omega mate, enter Galen, while the author tries to make the love equal it’s not, there’s more Beck and Caol interaction and it seems there’s never moments of Caol and Galen alone, aside from the mating, it’s either Beck there or Galen and Beck but never Caol and Galen. It also seems that Caol always prefers Beck, which is disheartening, I so wanted a great MMM book from this author and I didn’t get it.
Overall the author stayed true to the storyline but missed the mark with the aspect of making the trio’s love equal. Quite disappointing. - When Caol must choose his happiness or the survival of the colony of course he doesn't really have an option. Even through heart break he must find his fated mate. With so many surprises along the way, how could this not be my favorite book yet? With a heart felt conclusion I am going to miss this series and hope there will be a spin off in the future.. Thank you J.J. for this epic journey through the princes! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
- While I was not sure how I felt about Caol I was pleasantly surprised by how he grew.
For years he had had his beta Beck by his side. Everyone knew they were a forbidden couple but neither one could leave the other. And for the last several months Caol had been only with Beck for the first time he was being faithful and had no desire to break that with Beck. However even if he is the youngest prince he still needs to follow the law and have an alpha son to continue the line. Which meant he had to find his omega.
When a wet-nurse shows up with a child claiming that it was Caol's, Caol could not separate from this wet-nurse. At last his omega had shown up. What will this mean for Beck and Caol? And how will Galen the wet-nurse feel about not only finding his alpha but his beta? What could this mean.
Written as a stand alone and there is enough information to fill you in but, best read as book 5 and sadly last book in the series. - This was my favorite book of the series!! Poor Carol is torn for his love for Beck and finding his true omega! Then along comes omega Galen and with him is the pup of Caol. Caol finds the scent of this new omega alluring and he realizes he found his fated mate. How can this work out? What else an awesome threesome! This book had me crying, laughing and cheering throughout!! Great book to read!

I hope to get more of the Selkies in the future! - Out of all the brother Caol is my favorite I loved him since book one. My heart went out to Beck he has stood by Caol and loved him for who he was and not just cause he is a Prince. It has to be the hardest thing to watch the love of you look for his true omega. But Caol didn't let me down at one point I was on the edge because I wasn't to sure how this was going to play out. Galen was like bam out of know where I was hit again and his surprise I didn't see that coming. I know the king is having a heart attack in his grave right about now. This story has beem the a emotional one but it's a great end to the series .
- The best in the series!!! Through out the series I kept thinking that Beck was going to get his heart broken, I was so excited when everything worked out for him. These three men come together so seamlessly and wonderfully. Galen is the most understanding Omega in the series, his ability to accept the love between Caol and Beck was was just amazing. Caol matured so much in this book from finally realizing his live for Beck to stopping at nothing to find Galen's son. This trio was a great ending to this series, i'm sad to see it end, but it was a fabulous ending.
