• Our 10 year old, advid reader, loves these easier to read Shakespeare stories. She still talks about The Merchant of Venice (from the other set). The pictures help younger readers learn and refrence the characters and plot settings (these pictures/drawings are before the story chapters and show faces and names to help keep everyone straight in a readers mind). This (and the sister book of four stories) is a must buy for any readers growing and looking for something more serious, yet remaining at their age level.
• I bought this for my 9th grade class. I read it before we dove into reading the play aloud. It was very helpful to understand the events of the story as we read it. My daughter has enjoyed reading the other stories, which I hope will motivate her to read the original Shakespearean plays.
