- Each of the 5 former classmates, after overcoming horrible situations growing up, found strong men able to compromise to keep the women they love and make sure they are happy. It was odd, as the ending here stated, that Evangeline's house party generated not 1 but 2 marriages with a possible 3rd. It also seemed that because circumstances had these ladies marrying a bit later than normal they were each provided with the ready made start of their families. For such a similar story line throughout each story is very different in its own right. Not only did each lady team well with her spouse/family but the 5 families seem to merge and work well together.
- Although this is the last in the governess’ finding husbands, I liked this story best about Jasper, a man of business, that realized you have to become vulnerable to find love, again.
- This series was so fun!! A mix of various fairy tales all mixed together in the lives of 5 friends! This end of the series is, I believe, and to The Sound of Music! I think a 5 years down the road novel would be fantastic to show everyone's happily every after!! Please, I beg of you!!
